Yourden Ricardo (b. Isla de Pinos, Cuba, June 5, 1974) Graduated from the Fine Art Academy Wilfredo Lam (Isla de la Juventud, Cuba) in 1996, before continuing his education at the Vermont Studio Center in 1998. He has participated in many group and solo shows including, “Pop goes the Palette” at the Milander Art Center (Miami, USA); “Artist in Residence” at the Latin American Art Museum (Miami, USA); “II Salon AHS” (Isla de la Juventud, Cuba) and “Agudos del Silencio” at the Young Club Gallery (Isla de la Juventud, Cuba), among others. He is also the recipient of various awards such as, the National Salon Regino E. Boti (Guantanamo, Cuba) in 1998; the XIV Mcpal Salon (Isla de la Juventud, Cuba) in 1997; the I AHS Salon in 1994 (Isla de la Juventud, Cuba) and the II Students Salon (Isla de la Juventud, Cuba) in 1993.
