Joaquín González (b. Cuba) Graduated of Fine Arts at the San Alejandro Academy (Havana). González studied industrial design specializing in graphic design in Havana. In the 1980s he worked at the engraving Studio Cabeza in Madrid with the lithographer Don Herber and Antonio Gallo. Later on he studied at the studio of Oscar Manéis and Dan Albert Benveniste. In 1999 he created in Miami his own engraving studio Ediciones Malgón, where he has continued working in his art and at the same time creating limited editions for other contemporary artists.
